The Brewers’ Company is one of the few ancient companies that still remains true to its origins, “The Mystery or Art of Brewing Ale or Beer”. Only senior individuals working in the brewing industry are eligible to join the Livery.

Corporate membership of the Company is open to UK and foreign brewing companies, brewing at least 5,000 barrels a year of their own brands. Member companies nominate directors or senior managers to represent them on the Livery and can also nominate the individual in charge of production as a Liveryman Brewer.
